About the Event
🎓 Personal Statement Review Sessions for UW Applicants
Washington high school seniors applying to the University of Washington are invited to receive individualized feedback on their personal statement. Check in, join the review queue, and meet one-on-one with a Multicultural Outreach & Recruitment (MOR) admissions counselor for a brief review.
Please bring your most polished draft of your personal statement.
What to Expect
- Check in and join the review queue.
- Meet individually with a MOR admissions counselor for a 10-minute review.
- Receive personalized feedback on your personal statement.
- Leave with ideas to strengthen your essay before submitting your application.
Who Should Attend
This program is open to all Washington high school seniors (Class of 2027).
Students who identify as American Indian/Alaska Native, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, Southeast Asian, first-generation, low-income, undocumented, or foster care youth may find this program especially helpful.
